Ten players in the 2018 NBA Draft who fit the Cavaliers

The likely spot for the Magic to land is either No. 5 or No. 6.

Doug Franz of 98.7 FM Arizona's Sports Station's Doug & Wolf broke down the NBA Draft Lottery for the Phoenix Suns.

Williams will sit in the room where the pingpong balls are drawn. But, for now, here's an updated projection for the first round with the order set by lottery odds.

"I'll keep that very, very, very close".

It has the eighth-best chance of winning the lottery, which is being held in Chicago.

"It's our version of a lucky penny". The Magic will be represented on stage by president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman, who will carry his own good-luck charm, though he wouldn't tell the Sentinel what it was. The team will have an 8.4 percent chance of receiving the seventh pick and a 0.4 percent chance of receiving the eighth pick.

So Williams and the Magic can use all the luck they can get their hands on Tuesday.

This is done for the first three picks.

While other franchises have leapt from the very back to the very front (1985 NY in particular), others have won it multiple times (the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers are tied with the most lottery "wins" at three), the Phoenix Suns have yet to hit the jackpot, only coming as close as second place, once.

O'Neal, Hardaway and Howard became cornerstone players. Since then, their lottery picks have consisted of a mixed bag of Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon, Mario Hezonja, Domantas Sabonis and Jonathan Isaac. So far, only Oladipo has developed into an All-Star, but Oladipo reached All-Star status as a member of the Indiana Pacers. In the three lotteries since, Orlando received the fifth, 11th and fifth picks.
