The internet is completely divided over this weird audio illusion

This takes us back to the social media debates over the blue/gold or white/black dress and the gray or pink shoe.

For example, I honestly believe anyone who hears "Yanny" might be a sociopath. I heard Yanny 10 times before I could hear Laurel. "They are saying they hear Yanny because they want attention", Domenic Zenga replied. If the volume is turned down low, there's a higher chance one might hear "yanny" because the bass is not as prominent.

That debate has been raging on the Internet after an audio file repeating a single word was posted on Reddit Tuesday.

Ellen DeGeneres tweeted that her show had to be stopped so her audience could find out which name they heard. The middle consonant is definitely not an n, Sanker said, but you might hear one because the vowel in front of it sounds particularly nasal.

The clip has left Reddit users perplexed.

First, it was "what color is the dress?". "This is a case for the Federal Bureau of Investigation", one Twitter user wrote.

According to Feldman's biography on The Famous People, "CloeCouture" is a successful YouTube channel run by famous beauty vlogger Cloe Feldman".
