Vivo X21 With Under Display Fingerprint Sensor Launched: Price, Specifications, Features

The company has sent out press invites for an event on May 29.

The Invite delivered by Vivo includes a large "X" that traces in the forefront of an X-series smartphone in India.

As said before, the USP of Vivo X21 UD is its biometric security system. And this time, it is being expected that Vivo is soon going to launch its handset with under display fingerprint sensor in the country. Thanks to this technology, the company has managed to offer the phone with an nearly zero-bezel screen.

To refresh on the specifications, the Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch (1080x2280 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 Super AMOLED display. The notch on the top features a 12MP selfie shooter which comes with features like IP light fill to take good quality pictures under low light conditions.

Speaking about the innards, according to the TENAA listing, the Vivo X21i is powered by an octa-core processor that's clocked at 2.0 GHz and is mated to 6 GB RAM. It sports a vertically aligned dual camera setup at the rear which has 12-megapixel+5-megapixel sensors with dual Pixel PDAF and LED flash.

Connectivity options on the Vivo X21 include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 with OTG support, and Global Positioning System.

Connectivity choices on Sensors on the telephone include routine Fingerprint detector/ beneath screen fingerprint detector, gravity detector, There's a 3200mAh battery, with rapid charging service, under the hood. The major highlight of this Vivo X21 UD is its own under screen fingerprint scanner, which means that there is not any physical house button and consumers should simply touch a round onscreen mic instant to unlock their own smartphone.

Vivo X21 price is CNY 2,898 (roughly Rs. 29,900) for the regular 64GB variant and CNY 3,198 (roughly Rs. 33,000) for the regular 128GB variant. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS. A fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of the phone, while a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be a part of the package. It will be available in Black and Ruby Red colour variants.
