Given the current projects available and some of the Toy-Con Garage projects, it'll be interesting to see what else Nintendo comes up with for their Nintendo Labo lineup.

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ariana Grande, along with help from Fallon and The Roots, recreated her single "No Tears Left To Cry" using Nintendo Labo. After listening to the original version, it's pretty incredible that these combinations of cardboard and what's essentially a Nintendo tablet come so close to replicating it. And, no, there's no voice synthesizer Labo kit yet.

As a chart-topping musician himself, Fallon was quite impressed with the amount of flexibility Labo allows its users with their creations. If you have pedals maybe that can change your sound. So I can strum it and make it sound like a keyboard. "I mean I can do anything with it".

The band played their cardboard instruments live for performance, while Jimmy played a cardboard guitar and Ariana sang live. As for The Roots, Fallon explained that, "Tariq was using the Toy-Con Fishing Rod". My boys (9,7) love to build the Labo toys and playing with them.

To be honest, I wasn't totally sold on the concept until my son picked up the Variety Kit this past weekend.

"It was totally freaky and such a gamble", Fallon told IGN. After the spectacular success of the Nintendo Switch, the gaming giant chose to take the console beyond just gaming and into educational gaming. "You can make robots, you can make all sorts of fun stuff", Fallon said.

Monday night, she returns for a special segment.
