Angelina Jolie Could Lose Primary Custody Of Her Kids With Brad Pitt

She is not allowed to read text messages between him and the children.

A source told Hollywood Life that Jolie is upset and added: "Angelina is emotional and concerned over Brad's increase in custody, and the time he will be spending with their children this summer".

According to a new report, the judge in the couple's divorce case believes it's "harmful" to the children if Angelina continues to restrict access to Brad.

The judge also ordered Jolie to arrange a phone call with the kids and their doctors to explain to the children that "the court has determined that each of them are safe with their father".

The Blast reports that the court order gave strict instructions for Angelina to comply, quoting it as stating: "If the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Angelina] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Brad]". Additionally, Jolie is allegedly barred from being present or interfering with Pitt's time with the kids in person. But Jolie and Pitt seemed to bury the hatchet in January 2017, releasing a joint statement saying they had agreed to handle their divorce in a private forum and would work together to reunify their family.

In the spirit of strengthening the relationship with Pitt, the court has laid out a summer schedule for the children, minus Maddox, to spend time with the actor over the summer.

According to The Blast, a judge ruled that if she doesn't help fix her children's relationship with her ex, she could lose primary custody. "It is hard for her to be away from the kids, but she is working a lot this summer too, so she has no choice but to go along with the judge's orders and have faith that the kids time with Brad will be safe and good for them". He will have custody again from August 11 until the estranged couple's next court hearing on August 13.

Brad will not have all the kids at once, but he'll designate one or two of the children to spend time with at a time. From early to mid-July, he'll have the kids for four consecutive days, and in late July they'll stay with him in Los Angeles for about a week. Jolie is responsible for the children traveling back to Los Angeles and Pitt will be responsible for getting them back to London afterward.

The temporary custody arrangement has been broken down week by week until August. When they're across the pond with dad, Jolie can only call once a day.

Reps for Pitt, 54, or Jolie, 43, have not commented.

In some ways, the globe-trotting Jolie has come to resent Pitt for "essentially forcing her to settle down in Los Angeles with the kids", Us Weekly reported in May.
