Anthem Classes, Mission Types And More Revealed

The game will cast players as Freelancers, specialised pilots of Javelin suits. While no screens or clips were shown, during a casual conversation, the game's producer revealed that Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order will be set between Episode III and IV. More so when you consider that EA doesn't really have any big games slated for that time of the year. Sporting a dark aesthetic and a mix of sailing, fleeing from monsters and platforming, its eye-catching aesthetic and unique themes could well make Sea Of Solitude a future indie classic. "And we're really excited by the way the new Battlefield is shaping up". EA confirmed that they're a trend follower and added battle royale to Battlefield V.

Only a few snippets of gameplay were shown but from what these show, Battlefield V is looking to be a big step up for the series and it looks to be shaking up the formula in some interesting ways. There are four different javelins - ranger, colossus, interceptor and storm - and players are free to switch between them before missions.

"Regardless of how it's being portrayed, we're not look at that as a delay, we've chosen to launch Anthem in [the fourth quarter]". It all sounds very similar to what Bungie envisioned Destiny to originally be. "We MAY look at it", he tweeted.

[There will be] no ability to pay for gameplay advantage in Anthem. In a deep-dive into the game, Hudson discussed the game's emphasis on crafting meaningful stories alongside its multiplayer experience. Some new gameplay changes introduced include diving and rolling through windows and also customisation of weapons and vehicles to make them a lot better.

Developer BioWare went in depth on its upcoming multiplayer role-playing adventure Anthem today as part of its EA Play media presentation today.

Bioware seem committed to supporting Anthem over a number of years with new missions and story content.

EA's shared world shooter Anthem may have a release date.

Now EA did have some great showings for indies and that deserves some credit.

"We are going to have some cosmetics and vanity items that you're going to be able to purchase, but you're always going to know what you're going to buy before you spend any money on it".
