Halo Infinite revealed with stunning trailer at E3 2018

Let's see if this new game can recapture that title's nostalgic magic.

343 created a new engine Halo Infinite because the game was so ambitious that the studio new technology to realise the game's ambition. "In Halo Infinite, the game will focus on the Master Chief and continue his saga after the events of Halo 5", developer 343 Studios said in a blog post offering more details on the game.

Spencer promised that Microsoft is working on "Microsoft AI", new AI systems that will make games more "rich and immersive" in the future. While a bunch of exciting games were announced during the conference, it's clear that Microsoft is preparing for a brighter future beyond the Xbox One.

Today, a new gameplay footage was released during the EA Play E3 2018 show. For many years though, Xbox has been a multiplayer branded unit, at least generally speaking. We saw a massive, sprawling world with creatures we've never seen before in Halo.

Of course, many of these games also have multiplayer components and are sequels. While the first game was a visual marvel on its own, Techland seems to be taking a totally new visual direction with Dying Light 2.

It's no stretch to suggest that the Xbox One has been a beleaguered console that's really struggled since it launched. During Xbo's E3 2018 briefing it was announced that FastStart is a service that aims to allow players to jump into their games faster than ever.

"We embarked on a quest to find creative teams that have the mastery of our art", Spencer said.

Engineers at Microsoft are now working the next version of the company's Xbox console.

Away from the game announcement, Microsoft also looped to beef up their existing digital initiatives.

According to Phil Spencer, the game is Master Chief's greatest story yet. This could pay off big in the long run when combined with the Xbox Game Pass.
