Just Cause 4 accidentally shows up on Steam storefront

Another rumored game seems to be confirmed, as Valve apparently pushed an ad to Steam users for the as-yet-unannounced Just Cause 4. Just Cause 4 will be the latest addition to the Just Cause series.

According to the former, clicking the advertisement only leads to the Steam front page, and there's not now a store listing for the game. Or at least it did before Steam quickly removed it.

As you all know E3 2018 is just around the corner which means publishers are making final adjustments to make sure new games are available for purchase as soon as they launch. Now all of the limelight is going to be eaten up by Just Cause 4, which was probably awaiting a more official announcement during Square Enix's E3 conference on Monday.

Avalanche Studios can't catch a break, can it? The studio's acclaimed pedigree is strong, and it has multiple branches working across the world, but one wonders whether Avalanche is biting off more than it can chew with so many fingers in so many pies. Generation Zero also features 4-player cooperative multiplayer.

Just Cause 4 has no now announced release window or platforms, but will likely be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
