The Skysports Ambassador now holds WBA, IBF and WBO titles after winning his March unification clash with Joseph Parker and was honoured for his services to boxing. His glittering achievements in football and dedicated service to communities, including through his unwavering support for the families of the Hillsborough victims and the millions of pounds raised by his family's cancer charity, mean that "King Kenny" now deservedly becomes a Knight.

Billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, the boss of chemical company Ineos who this year topped the Sunday Times rich list with #21.05 billion, receives a knighthood for services to business and investment.

Founder and Managing Director of ER Recruitment, Leicester, Eileen was made an MBE for her work promoting female entrepreneurship.

The 55-year-old joked that although he was genuinely surprised - and a little overwhelmed - to receive the news, he won't be changing what he does.

Joseph Berry was also awarded a BEM for services to music and the community in Newry.


Of the 68 people made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO), just under half were women, including Macquarie Dictionary publisher Susan Butler, author Kate Grenville, former Greens leader Christine Milne and Business Council of Australia chief executive Jennifer Westacott.

In the business sphere Judy Naake, who made millions selling St Tropez self-tanning products, initially from the back of her vehicle, receives an MBE for services to entrepreneurship, the community and philanthropy.

She has been recognised for her work as a role model within the industry and for her contribution's to the nation's cultural identity.

Cricketer Neil Harvey, now 89 and the last surviving member of Don Bradman's 1948 "Invincibles" team, has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

In total 1,057 people have received an award in 2018.
