Meghan Markle Makes Trooping the Colour Debut with Husband Prince Harry!

The ceremony originated from traditional preparations for battle. It will be Harry's first time in Ireland, but Meghan visited Dublin in 2014. Meghan has become particularly close to her father-in-law, who walked her down the aisle and was instrumental in helping Meghan and Harry with wedding planning.

While appearing with her family on the Buckingham Palace balcony, the three-year-old accidentally slipped, with some viewers saying she hit her head on the railing.

The queen is then joined by other members of the royal family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace before a 41-gun salute is fired to mark the occasion.

Watched by large crowds, the newlyweds arrived in a horse-drawn carriage as part of a procession.

There were a few hiccups, as expected for someone still learning what it means to be a royal in appearance and attitude.

For the important occasion, Markle chose to break royal protocol (yet again), wearing an off-the-shoulder blush dress by Carolina Herrera.

"Eugenie and Jack's wedding will be charming and picturesque but it is not an important royal event as she does not undertake royal duties".

After she was obviously upset, her mum Kate Middleton quickly comforted her daughter.

Despite speculation, new baby Prince Louis did not make an appearance on the balcony.

The Queen looked on as the celebrations for her birthday took place on the Mall in central London.

Meghan fussed with her loose hair and seemed to be troubled by her Philip Treacy hat.

All of the Royal Family was in attendance. And, in return, the Queen gets a companion. Her most notable accessory was a Sphinx-like expression.

She was without her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, who turns 97 on Sunday.

Meghan will have been briefed extensively on every aspect of the event. This year was no different, although there's no denying all eyes were on Meghan.

What a week of meaningful steps for Markle as the Duchess of Sussex. Though Philip accompanied them, the focus was very much on the royal women and their chemistry.

"I'm quite proud and I know that a lot of other people are proud of me as well", he told the broadcaster.

Ok so for those of you who are wondering what Trooping the colour is and how did it began?
