Metal Wolf Chaos XD: Devolver Digital Remaster Releasing in 2018

FromSoftware released the Metal Wolf Chaos third-person shooter game in Japan only on the Xbox console in 2004.

Devolver Digital has announced a remaster of Metal Wolf Chaos XD, set for release later this year. Now, though, Devolver Digital is bringing an official version of the game to Western markets for the very first time. If you're unfamiliar with the insanity of one of From Software's most insane hits, just look up a video and get excited.

The country is in peril as President Michael Wilson defends the nation against a full-scale rebellion lead by Vice-President Richard Hawk and the mechanized legions he commands. The game saw you play as the president of the United States, who was also an awesome mech pilot, fighting his way across America to win his country back from a coup by his vice president. The game centers around a comically fictionalized version of the state of United States, and has the President defending the country from threat in a very big mech-suit dubbed "Metal Wolf". Now, the title is coming to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The game will feature updated graphics, widescreen format, and the "classic voiceover" that fans of the game have come to love for it's overt dramatic cheesiness.
