More Google Pixel 3 XL images leak, confirm all-glass back

Below the EE symbol are a couple of crossed-out letters and a recycling bin - these match the location and the size of standard Consumer Electronic symbols that appear on the Pixel 2 - albeit printed here in a sort of placeholder off-shape for each, so as not to mistake them for actual, final regulatory symbols. The device also features a dual front camera setup, which a feature also directly relevant to today's leak.

There is a chin on the front of the phone, too, which would line up with previous rumors, including a leak of what was believed to be screen protectors for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Google Pixel 3 internally bears the codename "Blueline", according to a Droid Life report. A Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform drives this particular unit, which carries 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage.

On the front there is indeed a notch at the top of the display, and a pretty tall one at that, with two round camera-like things sitting on either side of the earpiece.

A post on the XDA Developer's Forums may have revealed the Google Pixel 3 XL.

What do you think of the Pixel 3 XL? These represent the high-end specifications for the Pixel 2 XL, so maybe Google won't make any upgrades here as well. It's unclear why Google is continuing to use a single shooter, but the Pixel 2 XL takes great pictures, so one can only expect this device's camera module to be somewhat better.

If Google is to do the same, at least for the Pixel 3 XL as this leak would appear to confirm, then we can expect there to be plenty of push back.

The images also show off the speaker grille below the screen, the notch above it, the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the single-lens rear camera, which sticks out slightly. While this looks like a legitimate prototype, it in no way means that the Pixel 3 XL will look the same commercially.

Google's next flagship joins the notch train but also has a not-so-thin lower bezel. We'll keep you updated on the latest.
