My goodwill towards the people of Pakistan remains unchanged: Swara Bhaskar

Apologies to all my Pakistani friends right now. "United by hating on Swara". Divided by history, pain, sociopolitical realities, religion, terrorism. I'm totally okay with being the dushman in this case if it brings some dosti to us bickering neighbours:slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face: "Peace and love guys!" "Currently, I am ignoring these people and feeling very happy with the rest of the team of "Veere Di Wedding" about the success of the film". "What do you expect from a state that's run by Sharia Laws?".

"For some reason I have to keep answering for that".

In order to douse the ire, the actor tweeted today: "There should be a distinction between States/ govts of a country & the people of that country". My regard for & goodwill towards the people of Pakistan remains unchanged.

We have witnessed quite a few scenarios in the past where Indian celebrities tried splattering dirt on Pakistan and our actors gave a befitting response.

Following the comments, Pakistanis, including Urwa Hocane, Armeena Khan and Gohar Rasheed, schooled Bhaskar and slammed her for her "ill-informed" comments.

Swara has responded to the backlash in as cavalier a manner as she made the offending remarks. "Lahore remains one of my soul cities", she added.

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is now riding high on the box-office success of her latest release "Veere Di Wedding", is planning to head to a vacation with husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan.
