Restaurant gets Yelp-bombed for asking Sarah Sanders to leave

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted Saturday morning that she was told to leave a restaurant because she works for President Donald Trump.

Sanders' treatment at the restaurant created a social media commotion with people on both sides weighing in with their critique, including her father, former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.

However, some reviewers were angry at the restaurant for the way they treated Sanders and her family.

Jaike Foley-Schultz, a waiter at the restaurant, served Sanders and her family "for a total of 2 minutes" before the owner asked the press secretary's party to leave, CNN reported.

On Facebook, Lynne Kaliczak wrote "TERRIBLE PLACE THAT LET'S THEIR MANAGERS KICK SARAH SANDERS OUT FOR NO REASON OTHER THEN SHE WORKS FOR POTUS", before giving the establishment a one star review. "He who laughs last, laughs best!" another wrote. "If a baker can refuse to bake a cake for a gay couple, a restaurant can refuse to serve a liar that defends inhumane policies".

Yelpers from all over the country took to the restaurant's page to offer opposing opinions of the owner's reported actions.

The incident occurred after a week of widespread outrage over the Trump administration's policy of forcibly separating migrant families who illegally cross the southern border from Mexico.

The incident fits a recent pattern: Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was heckled with shouts of "Shame!" for several minutes at a Washington, D.C. Mexican restaurant on Tuesday. "You have my full support!", one commenter said.
