Ronda Rousey Suspended From WWE Following Vicious 'Attack'

There's a small chance Jax finds her way into that SummerSlam title match, but WWE is so clearly planting seeds for Bliss and Rousey to meet.

The former UFC women's bantamweight champion was enraged after being screwed out of the RAW Women's Championship at the promotion's Money In The Bank (MITB) pay-per-view (PPV).

The next night on Raw, Rousey destroyed Bliss during her championship celebration, and dropped the champ through a table. The crowd loved every blow that landed, but the volume spiked when Rousey put her hands on Angle. Kurt Angle, General Manager of Monday Night Raw, tried to stop Rousey from doing so but he faced the wrath as she went on to launch an attack on Angle.


Obviously, this is part of the latest storyline for WWE and likely a way to not overdo it on Ronda Rousey too quickly. As confirmed by the official website of WWE, that led to Rousey being "suspended" from Raw for 30 days. Later, Bliss would attack both the wrestlers with the briefcase and then pin Jax to ultimately clinch the title.

She had won women's Ladder match just a few minutes before the start of the title match and Bliss didn't wait to cash-in her opportunity on the champion. Surprisingly, it was answered by Dolph Ziggler who was accompanied by Drew McIntyre and the result of the match may have been even more shocking to fans. June 19, 2018) episode of Monday Night RAW. The reigning champion going into Sunday night's encounter, she has become one of the best performers on the roster over the previous year.

Angle's decision will keep Rousey out of the July 15 Extreme Rules event.
