Rose McGowan indicted on cocaine charge in Virginia

TMZ notes that McGowan could face up to one year behind bars if she's convicted. Her trial date will be set Tuesday at the Loudon County courthouse in Virginia.

But McGowan claims her wallet went missing while she was waiting at baggage claim after the flight.

Cocaine was found in a wallet McGowan left behind on a plane a year ago, according to charging documents.

She pled not guilty to the charge, claiming that she had reported the lost wallet to the airline shortly after landing.

Rose McGowan attends the Vivienne Westwood show as part of the Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2018/2019 on March 3, 2018 in Paris, France.

McGowan says she is being targeted because of her advocacy against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. When the narcotics accusations against McGowan surfaced, she said it was an attempt to silence her and was a "load of horsesh*t".
