Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a new upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Toronto which doubles as an exciting new toys-to-life game.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas has both humans and intelligent animals as characters, as we noticed in the cinematic trailer.

With the exception of the Star Fox-related items, the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the Starter Pack will come with the same items. Not everyone will get to experience the Star Fox collaboration however, as it'll only be available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Starlink is following in the footsteps of games like Disney Infinity and Skylanders, as it allows players to construct in-game ships using real-world, modular toys. The game will feature split-screen multiplayer for up to two players and seven "massive unique planets" to explore.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas launches for all consoles on October 16th, 2018. During the announcement, Ubisoft Co-founder and CEO, Yves Guillemot, brought out Shigeru Miyamoto to hand him a prototype replica of the Arwing, Star Fox team's iconic spaceship from the Star Fox series.

In addition to choosing ships, you'll also be able to choose pilots from the spunky Calisto Chase D Silva to Fox McCloud himself.

Three trailers were released for Starlink: Battle for Atlas. Each pilot has different skills to gain an advantage in battle.
