'You go first': Meghan Markle's awkward auto moment with the Queen

The first time she saw the Queen today, Meghan will have called her Your Majesty.

The newlywed, 36, looked incredible in a Givenchy cream ensemble which featured flared sleeves and a black waistband belt. The queen, who has reigned over the United Kingdom and the commonwealth for 66 years, is making the time in her very busy schedule to say to Meghan, 'OK, I'm going to show you, personally, the royal ropes.

And while we can't afford Meghan's designer wardrobe, we can get our hands on that M&S bell sleeve jumper she wore when visiting Brixton back in January.

Now that she has married Prince Harry and officially become the Duchess of Sussex, the eyes of the world are on Meghan Markle. To accessorise her outfit, the Queen wore the Kensington Bow Broach, which she has worn on many significant occasions, including her mother's funeral in 2002. "Meghan could be seen turning to Cohen for guidance during the day as she did her most important engagement yet".

But the duchess was without gloves.

Meghan Markle's first joint public appearance with Queen Elizabeth did not go without a small royal faux pas.

'The Queen was doing everything right for her and made her looked like a granddaughter or a friend whom she is very fond of. But never her pet name Lillibet, which is reserved for very close family and friend'. "At one point they were giggling like teenagers together".

Philippe Lagasse, a professor at Carleton University, stated (via Express), "According to the federal government's interpretation of royal succession in Canada, we could arguably make Harry the King of Canada with a simple parliamentary statute".

However, it seems the princess' acting prowess wasn't entirely responsible for her landing the role - her mother Sarah, Duchess of York was one of the producers.

The pair will first be heading to the Mersey Gateway Bridge, before watching a performance by local school children.

As the queen passes by, Meghan looks straight ahead and smiles, while mouthing 'do it?' to Prince Harry.

Meghan and the Queen have quite a bit ahead of them on the trip.
