Roseanne Barr to create her own talk show

The comedian and sitcom star who was sacked and had her show "Roseanne" cancelled after comparing former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett to an ape, posted a clip from the new show in which she defends her actions, citing ignorance.

"I'm trying to talk about Iran". "I'm trying to talk about Iran!" she yelled.

She then looks at the camera and screams, "I thought the b- was white!"

After this Roseanne -cigarette in hand - explodes and starts ranting about the offensive tweet and saying she thought the b**ch was white.

Note: The following video contains numerous profanities. "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj." she wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Roseanne Barr is back in the spotlight again for the racist tweet that she posted back at the end of May.

Through tears, she told the host: 'I'm a lot of things, I'm a loudmouth and all that stuff, but I'm not stupid, for God's sake, and I never would have wittingly called a black person...say they are a monkey.

In May the US President weighed in on the debate, taking to Twitter to ask why the US Network said sorry to Jarrett, but not to him for statements that were made on the network about him.

The 65-year-old has reportedly been recording in her son Jake Pentland's Full Moon & High Tide studio this week shooting interviews with friends and family members.

Last month, ABC greenlit a 10-episode spin-off of the sitcom, titled The Conners, but Barr will have no involvement with the series.

Barr previously claimed that her tweet was a commentary on anti-Semitism, writing, "Rod Serling wrote 'Planet of The Apes.' It was about anti-semitism". I should have known better. However, shortly afterward - and despite the apology - the reboot of the once popular "Roseanne" show was promptly cancelled.
