Elon Musk and Grimes 'trap' rapper in their home

It all started when Banks shared on her Instagram story, "Literally been sitting at Elon Musk's house alone for days waiting for @grimes to show up and start these sessions".

Recently, Musk's tweets have included saying Tesla will start selling "short shorts" as merch, as well as thigh-high sockboots and thigh high socks with pockets for lipliner and cards.

"I saw him in the kitchen tucking his tail in between his legs scrounging for investors to cover his a- after that tweet", she said. And, like both Musk's Space X endeavours, wants her future beefs to be interplanetary. By her telling, Banks was there to collaborate on a song with Musk's girlfriend, the pop star Grimes, but things didn't quite go as planned.

The controversial rapper claimed Musk was freaking out about having claimed in a tweet last week that he'd already secured funding to take Tesla private.

Over the course of the weekend, Banks claimed, the couple essentially went into hiding as Musk sought funding after tweeting about plans to take Tesla private last week.

A separate source confirmed to the Insider that Banks was at one of Musk's properties over the weekend. "He was stressed and red in the face".

Azealia BanksAzealia Banks said Musk was reportedly excited to meet her because she claims he liked her song "Anna Wintour".

"I waited all weekend while grimes coddled her boyfriend for being too stupid to know not to go on twitter while on acid", Banks posted. In another story, she wrote: "Staying in Elon musks house has been like a real like [sic] episode of "Get Out".

When reached for comment, Musk told Gizmodo over a Twitter message that he "has never even met [Banks] or communicated with her in any way".

According to Banks, Musk was distracted throughout the weekend after tweeting his plans to take the electric auto company private claiming that the funding was "secured". Grimes has not released a public statement on Banks's claims. In 2016, she slammed Beyoncé on Twitter for allegedly stealing from other artists.

In an interview with Business Insider, Banks later clarified that Musk's alleged meltdown was about struggling to secure private investors for Tesla after he may have broken the law last week by tweeting about selling Tesla shares for $420.
