The conversation turned to Trump nearly immediately, and Kimmel asked the 41-year-old father of two about his support of the president.

In response, Kanye puts on a thoughtful face, but seems to have no answer. "Nothing went down, nothing happened, but then I went to NY and started filming and I was like, 'You're right, I'm miserable". "I feel like Remy Ma physically fights her beats".

"Just as a musician, African-American, guy out in Hollywood, all these different things, you know, everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me", West told Kimmel. The rapper explained that there's this idea out there that "blacks can only be Democrats" and he added that as a result of his hospitalization in 2016 he "lost his confidence" and it took him a year and a half to say what he truly felt. Kristen Bell, who has no shame in her game, appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" a few weeks later where she was quick to defend her pool gloves, calling it a serious, yet-to-be-discovered medical condition. When they returned, they didn't address the question again.

Kimmel addressed Kim Kardashian helping convince Trump to grant clemency Alice Marie Johnson in June.

"Just when you think the world is gonna be ok, Big Sean comes out with a new piece of shit song", read Big Sean's tweet. West's criticisms of former President George W. Bush for not caring about the black community. "I think that you should take these violent thoughts and place your energies somewhere a little more productive", he said.
