Liverpool's Mohamed Salah reported over allegedly using mobile while driving

The Egyptian was apparently filmed using a mobile phone while at the wheel of his auto as it was surrounded by fans, including children, according to the BBC.

Mohamed Salah is in trouble with the Merseyside Police after footage of him was put on social media where he appears to be using his phone while driving his vehicle. However, Salah keeps looking at his phone and then continues to use his device for few seconds as he wheels away from the traffic.

A spokesman for the Premier League club said they had alerted police after discussions with the player.

The club took the action after speaking to the Egypt global following the video being posted online.

Merseyside police said they "have been made aware of a video believed to show a footballer using a mobile phone whilst driving" and have passed it onto the relevant department.

Salah was in his vehicle in a traffic jam when some fans approached seeking an autograph after the match against West Ham on Sunday, during which the 26-year-old opened his account for the season.

Footballers have been criticised in the past for not interacting with supporters, but Lingard proves that stereotype wrong with this brilliant footage from a year ago.

Footage shows Mr Salah appearing to scroll through his phone as a crowd of football fans surround his auto.

"We have also spoken to the player and will deal with any follow-up internally". Thanks for letting us know'.
