However, Thunder sampled Tracy Chapman's "Baby Can I Hold You" (1988) which Minaj was unaware of when she recorded the melody.

Lil Wayne, Young Money founder, forefather of modern rap, and mentor to Drake and Nicki Minaj, has spoken.

However, Colbert wasn't almost as flustered by her rap as he was by the question she asked right after: "Are you married?" I'm just ... it's a pretty comprehensive list!

Nicki Minaj and Stephen Colbert were absolutely adorable together on "The Late Show", with the rapper making the late-night host blush with a new "Barbie Dreams" verse. Minaj later learned that Colbert is married. The other person, he was just laughing.

'Drake, ' Colbert quipped, but Minaj said it was someone else. Colbert then attempted to rap to her Queen track "LLC", with Minaj returning the favor by delivering a cut joke from Colbert's Trump monologue.

Minaj said one of them was a "little irritated" but she explained that she loves him and he now understands. The video then depicts Queen Minaj emerging from the sand in very sexy rags, and reanimating a cadre of her followers using the time-honored method of shotgunning smoke into a skull.
