Rain showers and storms on the way to West Michigan

Rain showers and storms on the way to West Michigan

However, next weekend will not be a wash out but if you have outdoor plans best to do it earlier in the day rather than later.

Mostly cloudy skies continue into Tuesday with a renewed chance for scattered storms, mainly south of I-80. Similar to today, there will be a slight chance of isolated afternoon showers.

Highs will reach the low 80s with a skosh less humidity. Scattered showers and storms are possible once again in the afternoon and evening. While no severe weather is expected, some storms still could produce some heavy rain and gusty winds reducing visibility. But right now a widespread outbreak is not in the cards.

Monday morning's commute can be soggy with showers and storms working onshore around 5 o'clock until 9 o'clock. A low pressure center will get cutoff from the larger flow just to our southwest. That will ensure mostly cloudy and possibly overcast skies for a majority of the two days.

Still doesn't look like a washout for Saturday and Sunday, but rain chances will lurk. Environmental conditions are expected to be only marginally conducive for the low to acquire subtropical or tropical characteristics while it moves little over the next day or so.
