Richarlison talks up Everton targets Bernard, Yerry Mina

Portuguese midfielder Gomes, 25, will join on a season-long loan at a cost of 2.25 million euros for the English club.

Mina, who was linked with a move to Manchester United for much of the window, arrives a the club in a £30 million deal, providing boss Silva with the defensive lynchpin he has been so desperately craving.

The free signing of Brazilian midfielder Bernard was confirmed after a work permit was granted.

"It is important that the club want to fight for something", Mina told EvertonTV.


The Colombian worldwide completed a £28.5million switch from Barcelona on Thursday, having been the subject of heavy interest from Manchester United and Lyon. The France global, who spent last season on loan at Stoke City, had also been linked with Old Trafford but was in line to become Everton's fourth recruit of the day after paperwork was submitted moments before the 5pm deadline.

"I have spoken a lot to the coach and I know his passion for Everton and determination to be successful". When I found out about this opportunity and what the manager wanted out of me I was happy.

"I don't know anything at the moment but if he were to come here he would be very welcome and he would help the team a great deal".

Everton produced a remarkable end to the transfer window as they made three significant additions to Marco Silva's squad in Yerry Mina, Bernard and André Gomes.

Moments later they also confirmed that Portugal worldwide Gomes would join the Premier League side on loan.
