Spider-Man: Far From Home Adds Samuel L. Jackson And Cobie Smulders

But the question is how?

What do you think about the latest Infinity War revelations? Their involvement in the Spidey sequel has been rumored for the past few weeks with Jackson posting to Instagram from both London, England and Capri, Italy, both locations being used for the sequel.

Jackson (The Hitman's Bodyguard) and Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) will be joining Tom Holland for the next adventure in the titular webslinger's franchise, Spider-Man: Far From Home, according to Vulture. The character will be played by Oscar victor Brie Larson in future Marvel films, and has been rumoured to be the one who will take over as the leader of the Avengers post Phase IV. Jake Gyllenhaal will reportedly join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the villain Mysterio, and last month we got word that comedic star J.B. Get ready for SpiderMan to meet Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Undoubtedly, Peter Parker will be all too eager to be involved in their spy world, so cue plenty of pop culture references to James Bond and Jason Bourne.

It's pretty much a given Spider-Man and the rest of the dusted will be restored in Avengers 4.

Okay, so that Infinity War ending... we didn't REALLY think everyone was gone, did we? Plus, Peter Parker's classmates played by Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are supposed to be back as well. As for the Spidey sequel, it would appear that we're looking at a stacked cast indeed.

Jackson's casting means that Nick Fury is confirmed to appear in at least two Marvel movies next year: Far From Home (out July 5) and Captain Marvel (out March 8), where he'll play a younger version of Fury opposite Brie Larson's hero.
