The View Adds Fox News Channel's Abby Huntsman for Season 22

The View Adds Fox News Channel's Abby Huntsman for Season 22

She currently co-hosts "Fox & Friends Weekend" - and now Abby Huntsman is leaving her current network to join the cast of "The View" on ABC.

The hiring of Huntsman comes as The View will be saying goodbye to both Sara Haines and part-time panelist Paula Paris, TVLine reports. Her father also served as U.S. Ambassador to China under President Obama.

Fox confirmed the news to Media ITE, though Huntsman has yet to make a statement. She recently slammed the president after his meeting with Putin last month, in which Trump seemed to side with Russian Federation on USA election interference. She disliked it so much she considered finding a new dream career path that wasn't in television according to Elle.

Huntsman's addition to The View will add a second conservative voice to the panel show, less than a year after ABC poached another rising star from Fox News, a network known to cultivate them: Meghan McCain.

"I really hope that it is a conservative seat, because I think it will balance out that table", Bure said. One thing that she will lose is her unofficial title of the "hottest reporter on Fox", as bestowed upon her by her fans and Instagram followers.

The hosting line-up for The View now boasts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, McCain and Huntsman. "I'm honored to go down with this brand sitting behind me every day".
