Assassin's Creed Odyssey post-launch and Season Pass content detailed

The story will apprise players of the backstory behind the assassins. In a surprising saga filled with twists and turns, players will get even closer to Greek mythology and the First Civilization. Coming spring 2019, episodes will be released approximately six weeks apart.

There aren't many details available about this remaster at this time, but Ubisoft has said that it will feature some gameplay and visual improvements. This confirmed that Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is indeed launching on Switch simultaneously with the other versions. Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack and Tyranny of King George. Both games come with higher resolution textures, a new graphics engine and support for 4K and HDR.

It also includes Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation Remastered, which was originally released for PSP. Gameplay mechanics and ergonomics have also been improved.

Assassin's Creed III Liberation Remastered: Originally released as a PlayStation Vita exclusive, Assassin's Creed III Liberation has been remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in full HD. All of this content will be free for everybody who owns the game.

Moving onto the content that base game owners will receive following the launch, there will be an entirely free questline that will drop in between the aforementioned DLC episodes, named The Lost Tales of Greece. a New Game Plus mode, the return of the Discovery Tour, daily and weekly challenges were also announced.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey has an October 5 release date, but those with Gold, Collectors, or Ultimate Editions will be able to jump in on October 2.
