Brie Larson Wears Official 'Captain Marvel' T-Shirt In New Photo

With an explosive introduction, the first "Captain Marvel" trailer has arrived, six months ahead the movie's theatrical debut.

The Captain Marvel teaser trailer has been doing the rounds since Tuesday afternoon, with early reactions ranging from fist-pumping enthusiasm to total indifference. But there's more to this character than external conflict, as she's also plagued by vague memories that lead her to a mysterious conclusion: "I think I had a life here, but I can't tell if it's real".

The trailer doesn't reveal the full extent of Captain Marvel's abilities but Avengers: Infinity War writer Christopher Markus once claimed that her powers are stronger than anything that even Thor or the Hulk is capable of.

Fury shows up in the new trailer, looking a whole lot younger and with far more hair than he's sported in any other Marvel movie.

Some people were quick to point out the backstory, saying that Captain Marvel punched what looks like an old woman - but it is actually a shape-changing Skrull in disguise.

Brie Larson has shared a new photo of herself wearing the official Captain Marvel t-shirt. Prior to this all we had officially to go on was the synopsis released by Marvel when the film went into production.

Captain America quickly abandoned his direct connection to the U.S. Army after the his first movie, but that's understandable since he spend decades encased in ice and nearly everyone he served with was dead when he woke up.

The film stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
