Huawei Mate 20 Pro leaks one more time alongside AirPods copycat

The video shows a Huawei Mate 20 equipped not only with a powerhouse hardware spec including the fastest mobile CPU in the world, the Kirin 980, along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, but also Huawei's "something new" square rear camera array.

Huawei's Mate 20 will launch next month on 16 October in London; that much is already well known. Huawei did not stop there though, adding some unique twists to the earbuds - well, the case to be more specific. According to Quandt, the Freebuds have three hours of listening, extended to 20 hours with charges from the case, just like the AirPods. The earbuds go in the case to get charged and the case usually connects to a power source using a USB cord. The updated version will come with a much nicer looking charging case/dock, and will pair with the Mate 20 (or other device) over Bluetooth 5.0.

Unlike the AirPods, however, it seems that the Freebuds 2 Pro case has Qi wireless charging built in, as demonstrated in the image. Marketing materials for the Mate 20 and Freebuds 2 Pro say that you can also use the phone as a charging pad.

That could be a game-changing disruption that could genuinely shake up the mobile industry, and would nearly certainly see the Mate 20 or Mate 20 Pro slide effortlessly into our prestigious best smartphones guide. It appears a total of 20 hours of play may be possible off a single charge of the case, so the case itself will probably hold around 6 charges.

A Huawei Mate 20 that looks this good, is equipped so potently, and delivers something that is genuinely new, too? The leaked images (reposted below) show that the Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro are undeniably clones of Apple's famous truly wireless headphones.
