Is Nintendo ready to talk about its online service?

"Due to the powerful quake in Hokkaido, Japan, we have chose to delay this week's planned Nintendo Direct", the statement reads.

Nintendo have yet to announce a new date and time for the event. Although it's possible Nintendo may give it another dedicated Direct closer to its release in early December. The original plan was to premiere the Direct today, September 6, at 3 PM Pacific/6 PM Eastern.

Nintendo regularly broadcasts news announcements through livestreamed videos on its YouTube channels. With Nintendo having already hosted two Nintendo Directs that focused mainly on indie games, it'would be interesting to see if there is really more on the way. Not much is known about the game, as it hasn't been featured by Nintendo since E3 2017. You'll be to watch it on Nintendo's YouTube channel, or below. Nintendo Switch has several heavy hitters coming this fall like Super Mario Party, Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Eevee!, and Super Smash Bros. All the Big N are revealing is that it will last approximately 35 minutes and will feature both 3DS and Switch games.
