Jurgen Klopp slams Gary Neville's Champions League advice

Jurgen Klopp slams Gary Neville's Champions League advice

Vorm, 34, certainly isn't short of experience as he made 97 Premier League appearances for Swansea before moving to North London in 2014 and he has played against Liverpool on nine occasions during his career. What do we do?

"If not, we are not going to take a risk because he missed a lot of games and now we have a lot of games ahead". Klopp told a news conference. "Gary should come over and tell me exactly how that would work". How do you prepare a game and not focus on it?

The Merseyside outfit earned huge amounts of praise for their fine form in Europe least season as they reached the Champions League final but ended up losing to Real Madrid. That would be amusing!

"I don't know what he means with that, to be honest". We don't play Champions League or what?

Fabinho has only once been in the matchday squad for a Premier League game since his £39 million ($52m) move from Monaco. We have a good team together so that takes time.

"I would like the team to qualify out the group, and then after Christmas when you are involved in the latter stages, have the option to rest one or two players".

I still think Man City will win the league at this stage but as I said at the start of the season I think Liverpool will run them very close and it wouldn't be a massive surprise if they did win it.

"It doesn't work like this. But it's an opinion".

Jordan Henderson, who was a big part of Liverpool's success last season, has been used sparingly and Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is still making comebacks from injury.

"He has the possibility and the potential of course but now it is up to him and we go again: mentality. We have seen that we can do it", Klopp said.

"You always try to have your best game, but it is clear with the number of games". We have to do that, to rotate.

After four successive wins, Jurgen Klopp's team sit top of the table-but their biggest test so far comes with the trip to the national stadium. "The plan was and still is that he will make us better".

In midfield, Spurs have the option of recalling Eric Dier to play alongside Mousa Dembele in a double pivot if they revert to a 4-2-3-1 system, though they have been playing a 3-5-2 most recently. It was kind of a wake-up call for the players.

"The most thing here is the confidence and trust we have in him". Yes, we learned, the experience was that one game can be completely different to another. "It was the moment where we could show that we are really convinced about what we are doing, we just had to do it more often and in a better way".
