KISS announces 'End of the Road' farewell tour

The current KISS group is comprised of original members Simmons and Criss, as well as longtime replacements Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

KISS kicked off the live finale of America's Got Talent by performing "Detroit Rock City" and announcing a finale of their own.

During an appearance on NBC's America's Got Talent last night Kiss announced that they will be embarking on a farewell tour beginning in 2019. "It has been an wonderful journey with you all". "It will be the most explosive, biggest show we've ever done".

Over the years, the band's stage set evolved from a spare candelabra-accented design to various massive structures filled with lighted stairs, raised platforms, drum risers with functioning tank cannons and even the Statue of Liberty. "Kiss Army, we're saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet, and we'll go out the same way we came in... unapologetic and unstoppable".

No dates have been announced but you can expect this tour to run for years and years. People who love us, come to see us.

Earlier this year, KISS' Gene Simmons said the band were gearing up for a "spectacular" three-year world tour, which will supposedly hit all continents - wait, Australia is a continent! " 'Here's an idea: I'm going to wear more makeup and higher heels than your mommy, and we're going to look completely different than any band that's out there, and I'm going to stick my tongue out and spit fire, and fly through the air.' Not a chance in hell".
