Razer Phone 2 gets ready to make an October 10 debut

Razer, the gaming and peripheral company, has been rumoured to launch the second-generation gaming smartphone for a while now. A few years back the idea would have sounded positively nutty, but last year brought us the surprising debut of the first-gen Razer Phone, a solidly equipped Android gaming handset with an extra-high-refresh-rate display.

Assuming that these two smartphones are both the exact same height, it's safe to conclude that the upcoming Razer Phone 2 will boast a 5.7-inch display just like its predecessor. But quite disappointingly, a leak suggests that the rumored Razer Phone 2 will look a lot like the phone it is succeeding.

This will likely be the day Razer officially announces the Razer Phone 2.

So, what do you think about this?

The company has commenced sending "Save The Date" invites with an iconic triple-headed snake to media houses for the product unveiling on October 10.

Razer recently confirmed that it's working on a new Razer Phone, and now we know when we'll get to meet the device. Interestingly, the event invite mentions "flagship gaming" and shows a green outline of what appears to be a smartphone. While there is no information about the launch date of the Razer Phone 2, we expect the company to launch it in the month of November.
