Sombra Demon Hunter skin announced for BlizzCon 2018

Sombra Demon Hunter skin announced for BlizzCon 2018

While both of those heroes got a blue BlizzCon-themed skin, this year's BlizzCon skin is a departure from that trend, inspired instead by the Demon Hunters of Blizzard's Diablo series.

The exclusive BlizzCon 2018 Overwatch skin was leaked after Overwatch fans discovered it was viewable in-game.

You can only get these skins if you attend the event or buy a virtual ticket so, in many ways, the rarity of the skins increase with each year.

BlizzCon is Blizzard's annual convention, where they reveal upcoming content for their titles, host panels discussing a variety of topics and answering fan questions, and host competitions that vary between cosplay contests and StarCraft tournaments.

Bottom line: Blizzard's 12th BlizzCon can be enjoyed from anywhere with the purchase of a virtual ticket that grants behind-the-scenes and live streaming access as well as plenty of other perks.

The BlizzCon Virtual Ticket affords a wealth of goodies and access leading up to and during the event.

You'll also get loads of commemorative in-game items starting with a legendary skin for Overwatch's Sombra based on the Demon Hunter class from Diablo III.

"We created BlizzCon as a celebration of our global community, but not everyone can travel to the show, so the virtual ticket gives us a great way to bring BlizzCon to gamers around the world", said Morhaime.

Full details for the Vitual Ticket can be found on the BlizzCon website. Sombra's Demon Hunter legendary skin is the first of six exclusive items to be announced.
