Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson Call Off Engagement & Break Up

14, 2018, TMZ reported that the high-profile couple have mutually made a decision to split up and call off their engagement after five months of dating.

Sources close to Grande and Davidson told TMZ that the timing for the couple for was not right, but added that they haven't ruled out rekindling things in the future.

TMZ was told the two still have love for each other, but things are over romantically.

The pair announced their engagement in May just a few weeks after they had started dating.

The relationship with Davidson blossomed rapidly, and Grande found herself engaged to the Saturday Night Live comedian within weeks.

This news comes shortly after Grande's team announced the singer would be taking time away from the public eye after an especially hard year and the sudden death of her ex, Mac Miller, last month.

"He just ticks every box, and it gets better every day", she said on "Good Morning America".

One Twitter user wrote at the time: "Pete Davidson covered his risky woman tattoo, a tweet announcing the breakup with the notes app is coming!" Since then, Grande has been largely absent from social media, canceling scheduled performances and delaying her tour indefinitely.

Davidson reportedly dropped close to $100K on the engagement ring, and both lovers got multiple tattoos to symbolize their love.

The Florida born performer was also left shattered from the recent death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller. Neither has confirmed the breakup on social media.

Grande reported reportedly pulled out of the event only 24 hours beforehand. According to TMZ, the pair chose to separate over the weekend.

"It was way too much too soon", the source told PEOPLE.
