Fall book sale starts Friday at Norman Public Library

All of these are great reasons to head to the Friends of the Library Book Sale at the Grand Rapids Public Library Oct. 20-21. Visitors are asked to park in the far northwest area of the parking lot and use Entrance B. On Sunday, bags will be provided for the blowout $5-a-bag sale; audio books, CDs and DVDs will be sold at half-price.

Friends of the Library Macon are expecting a line of custormers ready to buy books at the Old Book Sale. Children's books will be included as part of the Bag Day Sale.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit Friends of the Library, a volunteer, board-guided, membership organization that acts as a booster club for the library.

The sale begins at 10:00 a.m. each day; it continues until 8:00 p.m. tonight, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday and until 12 noon on Saturday.

For more information, call the library at 401-725-3714.

The Friends of the Brighton District library is a nonprofit organization that works to strengthen and support program and services. The library is on Route 31 just north of Lillian Street.
