Harbaugh rips 'bush league' Michigan State after pregame scuffle

Follow along with our live-blog below: Harbaugh says "the team feels good about itself and it should".

Winovich's animosity towards Michigan State comes after tensions ran high during pre-game warmups. "Apparently coach Dantonio was 5 yards behind, smiling". According to Michigan officials, the Wolverines were stretching when Michigan State came out onto the field 10 minutes late for their ceremonial team march. This led to an unfortunate meeting between two teams that do not like each other.

"That's B.S.", Dantonio said.

Michigan linebacker Devin Bush was caught kicking and defacing the Michigan State logo at midfield before Saturday's game against the Spartans.

But later in the third, MI finally made a big play. "Sometimes your little brother starts acting up, and you just gotta put them in place".

At first, the move can just be seen as Bush being overly emotional before a big rivalry game.

Take the accounts for what they're worth and it seems like things were said and done by both sides, which isn't uncommon.

The younger sibling comparison comes from a 2007 game, when MI running back Mike Hart infamously called the Spartans "little brother".

Dantonio said in the week leading up to Saturday's game that the games with MI since Harbaugh's arrival had been respectful and sportsmanlike because both coaches "respected the game of football", and that trickled down to their players.

Michigan State utilized a trick play to knot the score at 7-7 with 11:12 to go in the third quarter when a reverse wound up with a 4-yard scoring pass from wide receiver Darrell Stewart Jr.to quarterback Brian Lewerke. The cordial vibes appear to have dissipated quickly this week.
