Huawei's latest phone is bigger than an iPad mini

On stage, Huawei basically showed the Mate 20 X next to a Nintendo Switch for a size comparison. Intrigued? You will be! Let's see some more details on it. The Mate 20 Pro available at €1,050 price tag. There's a third 8MB telephoto lens for good measure, too. It has a smaller waterdrop notch and nearly no bezels. This smartphone comes in two variants - 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM. Other specs include a Kirin 980, 4000mAh battery, Android 9 with EMUI 9 on top, up to 6GB RAM, and a headphone jack. They've included a crowd-pleasing camera upgrade, a record-breaking display, but in line with this and their slick, modern look, with a chassis in five colours that is waterproof, dust-proof, and anti-slip, they also made good on their promise to amp up the power.

That sounds impressive, but virtually every phone manufacturer plays up its supposedly superior camera capabilities.

Moving on to the higher-end device, everything is the same except a few notable differences.

This lens, according to the leaks, will be joined by an f2.4 20-megapixel telephoto lens and the triple-camera setup will be completed with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor.

Huawei Mate Junior 20 no 3D scanner, whereas the cutout in the screen is smaller. The back is clad in leather with a vertical strip of glass holding the Leica triple camera, its nearly like a racing stripe.

As for the colors of the phones, it seems like the Mate 20 will only come in black and blue, whereas the Mate 20 Pro will be available in black, emerald, and twilight.

There will be two ways to charge the 4 200mAh battery on board the device, either through the new 40W Supercharge wall plug that will charge a phone to 70% in 30 minutes, or a 15W output wireless charger. Definitely, a unique feature to set it apart from the rest of the crowd.

It's unclear if this supersized phone will be available to buy in the U.S. The Mate 20 X goes on sale October 26 for 899 euros. It has a 6.39 inch, 3120x1440 2K plus, 19.5:9 ratio, curved OLED HDR display.

The AI also helps the device to carry out environment detection as well as automatic image processing when a user is taking a photo. The phone is powered by the latest Kirin 980 chipset, which is based on the 7nm process along with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU. The phone will ship with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, along with a dual speaker configuration. It was launched in Midnight Blue and Phantom Silver options. Pricing starts at $1,042.

The Huawei Mate 20X is set for October 26 in Europe and will cost around $1040 Dollars for the 6GB RAM variant coupled with 128GB storage.
