Men Killed in Shooting at Child's Birthday Party in Texas, Officials Say

Sgt. Nathan Brandley of the Texas Department of Public Safety said police are looking for two suspects "who are at large at this time", and that the Texas Rangers are taking the lead on the investigation. Authorities did not say what the men were arguing about.

One 3-year-old, a boy, was shot in the leg and the other, a girl, was shot in the arm, but none of their conditions are life-threatening. He says a second suspect hasn't yet been arrested.

Those killed were identified as Juan Espinoza Sr, 62, and his grandsons Juan Sandoval III, 20, Jeremy Sandoval, 22, and Nicky Sandoval.

Two families had an argument at the 1-year-old's celebration in Corpus Christi, which escalated into gunfire, according to police.

The four men were found dead at the house where the birthday party took place, Brandley said.

'[We're] still interviewing eye-witnesses and everybody that was there at the party, trying to piece all the pieces of the puzzle together'.

Officials are hoping to release more information on the case later Sunday evening, CBS Dallas/Fort Worth reports.
