OnePlus 6T event rescheduled for October 29

OnePlus 6T event rescheduled for October 29

Our challenge was to find a way to make the most of a bad situation. However, yesterday Apple sent out invites for its own hardware event for the same date.

If the delayed update is too much for users, then the impending launch of the OnePlus 6T on October 30th could be a good time to check out a new phone with Lau also advising that the phone will run Android 9.

OnePlus is hosting the launch event for its new smartphone at KDJW Stadium in New Delhi. "We will do everything in our power to make things right".

This week, Apple announced it has an event planned for October 30, which just so happens to be the unveiling date for the OnePlus 6T.

"We received considered, honest and thoughtful feedback".

"We are moving the event a day early so we can all experience the latest technology, together".

This is a portion of what Pete Lau told OnePlus fans. He also contacted those who booked tickets and flights to get to the event. "Everyone who owns a ticket will be able to apply for a full refund for their ticket".

"We hope that you will understand our decision". Moreover, the OnePlus 6T will be the foremost device to sport a water drop display design and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

This is a huge break for OnePlus in the USA, but that doesn't stop the company from selling unlocked, carrier-free phones in the country.

Other extras could include a bigger battery, improved camera and the option to charge the device wirelessly. Specifically, the 6T will feature a "whole new UI".

In a post to the OnePlus forums today, the company says that it has picked a new date for its 6T reveal: October 29, one day before it originally planned to reveal the phone. The smartphone will however lose the 3.5mm headphone jack. It'll still be happening in New York City, so nothing about the location has changed.
