Royal Tour: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit Fiji on day 8

Even though Meghan made quite an effort to keep up with Prince Harry and their demanding schedule during her first few days in Australia, she has finally chose to scale back on things.

According to insiders, the prince is "happier than ever" after it was last week revealed the couple, who married in May, would become parents next year. "So do I", Harry enthusiastically responds.

Recall that Thomas is on the outs with his daughter after opening up to the media multiple times about politics, the royal family, Meghan's marriage, and her adjustment to this new lifestyle. She had to pull out of a couple of engagements over the weekend, leading royal watchers to believe the she was experiencing some early pregnancy symptoms.

"I hope it's a girl!" a well-wisher can be heard saying to the Duke of Sussex.

But the Duke of Sussex carried out the engagements they had planned alone.

The pair were seen arriving in the Pacific nation as Meghan returned back to full royal duties after taking it easy due to her pregnancy.

A source previously said: "She is not sick, just exhausted".

"We have to make sure she is well-paced and not overdoing it", the source added.

The conversation clearly meant a great deal to Gwen who said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex help to promote optimism.

And Prince Harry has remained protective over wife Meghan Markle during the whirlwind tour - insisting the 37-year-old take a break from official duties and rest up on the sixth day of their tour.

Prince Harry inspected a guard of 100 soldiers from the Fijian Army and Navy.

He was met by the Butchulla people, the traditional owners of the island which is also known as K'gari.

The duke then travelled to one of the iconic lakes to learn about the environmental significance of the island and how they're encouraging eco-tourism, to limit the damage done by visitors.
