Top Gear’s New Presenters Are Paddy McGuinness And Andrew Flintoff

Matt LeBlanc is set to be replaced by Andrew Flintoff and Paddy McGuiness as the host of Top Gear, the BBC has confirmed.

To replace these two, the network has named Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness as the newest hosts of the number one vehicle show in the world.

The news comes after former Friends star Matt LeBlanc announced he will leave the show after the next series.

"Getting the Top Gear gig is a real honour", McGuiness said.

"To be hosting a show I've watched and loved from being a small boy is beyond exciting". "'Top Gear' fans worldwide are a passionate bunch and I consider myself one of them".

Well the BBC has finally revealed that not one, but two hosts will be added to the "Top Gear" lineup.

While filming doesn't start 'til next year, the new trio have already been hanging out together while doing publicity for the show.

He had joined the line-up in 2016, a surprise addition alongside Chris Evans following the departure of previous hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

He added: 'However, the time commitment and extensive travel required to present Top Gear takes me away from my family and friends more than I'm comfortable with.

Their first series will kick off later in the year.

For the new-look show Reid is sadly - maybe even unfairly - being pulled from his duties on the main show but will still present Extra Gear, the franchise's whisky chaser that features sweet additional features, guests and behind the scenes insight.

"This is a thrilling manoeuvre from the Top Gear team and I'm relishing what this trio will deliver", says Patrick Holland head of the BBC's BBC Two channel in a statement. They're both brilliant, natural entertainers - and their mischief mixed with the most exciting cars on the planet is sure to take the show to the next level.

Lancashire lads McGuinness and Flintoff - also known as Freddie Flintoff - were unveiled as the new faces of the motoring show on Monday morning.
