Top Teams Are Reportedly Interested In Patrick Peterson Trade

A report by ESPN's Adam Schefter, though, stated that Peterson "has asked Arizona to deal him by the October 30 trade deadline", noting the player "feels as if the situation is deteriorating and continues to reaffirm to others that he "desperately" wants out". However, Arizona has blatantly said it is not willing to trade Peterson at this time.

Of course, any team trying pull off a trade would also have to take on a cap hit that comes with Peterson, which means a team would have to have roughly $6-7 million in free cap space to make a move.

Peterson "desperately" wants to leave the team and feels the Cardinals' situation is "deteriorating".

The desire for a trade makes sense, but now the Cardinals are making it hard.

Former NFL player Bryant McFadden, who is Peterson's cousin, wrote on Twitter that the Saints, Eagles and Patriots are all showing interest.

McFadden also claimed to have received the info from Peterson himself. Therefore, the source is as legitimate as they come. They are a talented team that is looking like one of the best in the NFC and he can pair up with Marshon Lattimore. At 3-4, the Eagles are 1.5 games behind the Washington Redskins, and although they've likely played themselves out of home-field advantage beyond the first round, they definitely can still make noise in the postseason. Adding a top corner like Peterson would be huge for a defense that hasn't been as stout as they were a year ago.
