Trump on Mocking Christine Ford at Rally: ‘It Doesn’t Matter. We Won’

Donald Trump revealed on "60 Minutes". he had to mock Dr. Christine Blasey Ford at a MS rally in order to get the necessary votes to put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. I had one beer! Oh, good. How did you get home?

'Where is the place?' I don't remember. "I don't remember", Trump mocked. Mr. Trump told 60 Minutes Kavanaugh wouldn't have been confirmed otherwise.

CBS News' Lesley Stahl pushed the president, reminding him that Ford said in her testimony that the worst part of the assault was the laughter.

Stahl said one of the emotional moments of Blasey Ford's testimony was when she remembered Kavanaugh and another boy laughing at her - "at my expense". The way how Justice Kavanaugh was treated has become a big factor in the midterms.

Trump then tried to change the subject. "Have you seen what's gone on with the polls?" the president said. When pressed on that claim, the president said, "You know what? It doesn't matter. We won".

Trump openly questioned Ford's claims and mocked the broader #MeToo movement during a rally in MS, just days after the woman gave emotional testimony about her allegations before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

For the record, I was angered and disappointed by Collins' speech and vote, and like thousands of Maine citizens, wrote and called her to express my conviction that Kavanaugh was not worthy to sit on the court. "I was just saying she didn't seem to know anything".
