Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt going to trial in custody case

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt going to trial in custody case

According to TMZ, Angelina wants full custody of the children, while Brad wants joint custody.

A source said: "Both parties continue to work together toward a settlement". The custody trial is set to begin December 4.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, after two years of marriage, although the couple had been together since 2006.

The trial scheduled for December 4, will likely behind closed doors and not at a public courthouse, according to the wishes of the two estranged couple. The Blast reports that while the MoneyBall star wants a 50/50 custody agreement, Angie wants sole custody of the kids and isn't budging.

Battling for custody isn't the only thing that the couple will be going through in the near future, as the judge reportedly also needs to deal with the property settlement and the pair never secured a prenup. Pitt's team retaliated, providing court documents receipts for a $8 million loan he gave Jolie for her current home as well as $1.3 million in bills.

The judge told her: "If the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt]".

As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie head to trial for custody of their children, sources close to the actor say he's concerned about the fallout.

The former couple reached a temporary agreement in August after Brad responded to Angie's petition asking for physical custody of their six children.
