Fans mourn loss of Marvel comics legend Stan Lee

The death of Stan Lee has inspired all sorts of celebrity figures (including all those stars within the Marvel brand) to post tributes to the late, great, Marvel creator on social media.

In another case of "Nerd MadLibs Gone Wrong", Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 52, had words for Armie Hammer, 32, after the Lone Ranger star criticized all the celebrity tributes to Stan Lee.

A legend and visionary in the comic book industry, Lee had in recent years been a regular on the big screen due to his consistent cameos in Marvel Cinematic Universe films. The video combines photos and clips of Lee with insights from Marvel executives. "For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy".

Speaking to TMZ, JC Lee described the character - Dirt Man - as "the last little angel we've got tucked away". "Please join us in remembering Stan "The Man" Lee".

The Call Me By Your Name actor hit headlines when he slammed stars such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Hugh Jackman, and Chris Pratt for sharing snaps of themselves with Lee to mourn his passing on Monday. "He did listen to me, and we had been working on a character called Dirt Man. ... It's not over yet, we still have a little trickery", she said.

Disney boss Bob Iger released a statement as part of a tribute on the official Marvel website. "A superhero in his own right to Marvel fans around the world, Stan had the power to inspire, to entertain, and to connect. The scale of his imagination was only exceeded by the size of his heart".
