Fortnite Concurrent Players Peak 8.3 Million Worldwide

Could the A.I.M. Hunting Party skin possibly be giving Fortnite players a hint of winter map being added to the popular battle royale game? This is an increase from the 3.4 million global concurrent users reported in February, which means that the number has more than doubled in a span of seven months.

Meanwhile, as of today, Fortnite's tie-up with the National Football League kicks off, allowing players to buy NFL-themed outfits from the Item Shop.

There will also be uncommon referee skins, which will cost 800 V-bucks.

Bear in mind that, this time a year ago, Fortnite had managed to amass over 7 million players in total, never mind playing at the same time. An extra purple and green Fortnite jersey comes along with the set, giving you a total of 33 varieties to choose from.

The skins are available for purchase in the item shop for 1,500 V-Bucks, which is equivalent to about $15.

One of the most popular sports leagues in the world is the NFL. Since this is a partnership that has been hyped up we can probably expect to see these skins stick around in the shop over the weekend instead of just the typical day.
