Kim Kardashian Forced to Evacuate Home Due to Wildfires in Calabasas

PEOPLE reports that Kim was affected by the Woolsey Fire, which is near the Hidden Hills home she shares with Kanye West. "Just landed back home and I had one hour to pack up and evacuate our home". Kim Kardashian West also took to her Instagram and wrote, "Pray for Calabasas".

The California wildfire that is burning out of control has reached the estate of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and the flames are now on their property. Among the houses reported to have been devoured by the flames is Caitlyn Jenner's mansion in Malibu hills. Jerry Brown, who is traveling out of state, declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles and Ventura counties Friday on account of the wildfires. "I pray everyone is safe", she captioned a series of images. I pray everyone is safe'.

Alyssa Milano said her home was "in jeopardy" but later tweeted that she was safe.

Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate as firefighters worked to contain the blazes.

Among the evacuees were celebrities from communities including Calabasas, Malibu and elsewhere, who found themselves in the thick of those forced from their homes.

She later thanked the firefighters for their efforts, adding: 'Thank you for all you do for us!'

The entire 12,000-strong population of Malibu, which stretches 27 miles (43.5 km) along the Pacific Ocean in Southern California and up into the Santa Monica mountains, was placed under mandatory evacuation on Friday as the Woolsey fire exploded overnight. At 2:30 am her sister Khloe tweeted out "I cannot sleep!"

"Shape of Water" director Guillermo del Toro said he evacuated Thursday night. "I am too nervous with these fires #MamaKoKo", Khloe Kardashian posted on Twitter. "And unfortunately it's becoming more and more common here in California", actress Natalie Portman said Friday night in Hollywood at an American Film Institute Fest premiere of her film "Vox Lux".
