Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott was 21 of 31 for 243 yards, two touchdowns and the interception.

A pair of 3-4 teams coming off a bye meet up in Dallas on "Monday Night Football" when the Cowboys and Titans clash at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Amari Cooper had a 4-yard TD catch in his first game for the Cowboys, who sent a first-round pick to Oakland for the fourth-year receiver.

"It's shocking, it's shocking to see the amount of points and what we did on defense", defensive end Tyrone Crawford said.

It's not surprising, considering Dallas fell to 3-5 this season and lost for the first time at home in this campaign. He has also rushed for 247 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

Now the Cowboys are looking at a second straight year of missing the playoffs since the remarkable rookie seasons for Prescott and Elliott, who powered Dallas to an NFC-best 13 wins before a divisional round loss to Green Bay.

Multiple sources said Lee could miss four to six weeks with one source saying it could be closer to six weeks, which means he could return for the final two games of the season on December 23 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I don't know how to articulate my patience or lack thereof, and I'm not trying to be smart", Jones said. The two turnovers were Prescott's first at home this season.

Dallas forced another golden opportunity on the next Tennessee drive, when Mariota fumbled at the 38-yard line and Jaylon Smith recovered.

Along with Cooper's debut, this was the first game for the Cowboys since offensive line coach Paul Alexander was sacked less than halfway into his first season with the team. "Not let anything break us apart". A few weeks after strongly backing Scott Linehan when asked if he still had faith in his offensive coordinator, Garrett had a different tone when asked if he envisioned a scenario where he took over play-calling.

In many ways, the Cowboys and Titans are very similar teams at this point in time.

"I think we realize we have eight games to go, we've got a long way to go in this season", Jones said. Dallas had just 108 yards in the second half - the bulk of those on a desperation drive down two scores late - and was booed several times at the end of failed drives.

"Tonight's game did not - did not, I emphasize - impact my future look at Dak Prescott".
